How We Got Started

My entrepreneurship journey began in 1987 when I formed my first sole proprietor venture, The Burkhardt Group. following a sterling 10 year post-college career of Retailing and Broadcasting in Chicago and Los Angeles. In 1992, it morphed into TBG Communications, Inc, a 24/7/365 operation fulfilling National Inbound and Outbound Telemarketing projects and continued until January 1997 when I stepped away to provide critical care for my ill mother. Then, Gtr2tor.com (Guitar tutor) was formed and offered private in-home Music lessons after school. The innovative website had lessons and tips posted for my students plus a convenient interruption-free way for direct communication. In 2003 I began studying ProTools Production and Music Business thru Berklee Online which led to an Internship with Mastering Guru Bob Katz and 2006 move to Orlando. SNT Internet Radio was created and began streaming in 2008 under SNT Communications, Inc,. In 2015 I received a Masters of Science degree with Honors in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University. SNT Communications, Inc dissolved in 2022 and Burkhardt Media Group became a partnership with my talented wife, Nina.
